Quality Of Hotbuys Gone Down?

Lately the talk about Hotbuys is about how crappy they seem to be getting. Compare the January 2010 Hotbuys to the January 2011 Hotbuys
Which ones look better?
I think the January 2010 ones do.

The 2011 ones just look a lil' cruddy.
Either Stardoll is slacking, or they're under the impression we like crappy quality?
